Crufts 2024 shopping haul including treats, toys and essentials

There are almost 500 retailers and traders at Crufts this year, with the Birmingham-based event providing the ultimate shopping experience for dog owners. Split across five halls at the huge international dog show, shoppers can find everything from treats, toys and grooming products, to supplements, gadgets and accessories for hounds and their humans.

During our visit on Thursday, March 7, I stocked up on some of our favourite brands, met some of the retailer’s we’ve previously collaborated with, and discovered new and exciting traders. So many stalls looked incredible, and it takes almost all day to get around them all, but we have shared some of our top tips for shopping at the event, as well as the must-visit stalls in this blog post here.

I typically set myself a spending limit at Crufts of around £150 and managed to stick to it, especially with many of the retailers holding special offers and discounts exclusive to the event, like three for two or bundle offers. By the end of the day, I had a tote bag filled to the brim, and so many carrier bags – I’m just glad I had my partner on hand to help me carry everything this year

Be sure to stock up on all the free samples, too! Lots of brands will hand out testers and mini products to try out at home. It’s also the perfect time to ask questions to the people who know the brands the best, in order to make more informed choices and get the right products for your pet.

Phoebe and Frank were thrilled with our haul, and can’t wait to try out some of the brand new products, so here’s every product we brought home from Crufts 2024:

Wild Pack treats

Founded by Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo, Wild Pack soft-launched their new range of treats at Crufts alongside their beautifully branded, but most importantly, healthy and natural raw dog food. Coming soon, the collection features three tasty flavours including 100% venison cubes, 100% beef jerky and scottish salmon bites, made with added sweet potato and rosemary.

The treats proved so popular on day one of Crufts that Toff had to text their manufacturers to see how quickly they could get more delivered, so it’s safe to say that these coveted rewards are going to be a real hit when they launch. We picked up a pack of each and are already regretting not getting our paws on more – but rest assured,  after being taste-tested by Montdog himself, they are incoming and we will be stocking back up.

In the meantime, though, find out more about Wild Pack and their dog food subscription service here.

Buddylicious treats

We were first introduced to Buddylicious at Crufts last year, and have since reviewed their semi-moist Serrano range, which you can find here.

We loved them so much, we grabbed one of each flavour again, but decided to upgrade to their selection box for £20, which got us four small packs of the Serrano treats, as well as five large packs from their dried range. Ordered online with delivery, this would have come to over £40, so it was an unmissable price, really.

Our box contained the Serrano Ham, Serrano Beef, Serrano Chicken and Serrano Turkey, alongside beef and chicken strips, pork crunchies, dried sea sprats and dried cod skin strips. We adore their branding as it reminds me of upmarket bar snacks that you might find in a craft pub, and they’ve launched their shoppable site since we last wrote about them, making them more accessible, too!

Goughnuts ball

After being recommended them by a dog handling police officer, we bought Goughnuts rings at Crufts last year, and have been so impressed with their durability. There’s barely a mark on them. Phoebe loves the doughnut shape, and while Frank does play with his, he has been pining for a ball, so I promised him I’d get him one from Crufts.

Designed to withstand even the most aggressive chewers, this virtually indestructible ball is a game-changer for dog owners tired of constantly replacing chew toys. Made from the same durable rubber as their renowned rings, the Goughnuts Ball promises hours of safe, interactive play.

They don’t come cheap, with the toughest ball costing £21 – but for how much I’d end up spending on ‘disposable’ toys, I’ll certainly be saving in the long run.

The Green Poop Bag

We stumbled upon The Green Poop Bag booth at Crufts, and we’re so glad we did. These eco-friendly poop bags are completely plastic-free, ensuring they’re 100% biodegradable and home compostable. Not only are they better for the planet, but they’re also strong and durable, with two sizes to choose from, depending on the size of your dog.

They’re one of few brands who do strong poop bags on a roll with handles, perfect for popping into poop bag dispensers to clip on bags or leads. Meanwhile, their XL singles are ideal for garden pick-ups where you may have more than one to collect in one go. We got one pack of each and so far, we’ve been pretty impressed – stay tuned for a full review.

TastyBone

TastyBone has become a favourite among dog owners, but I’ve often been a bit sceptical due to my dog’s history with chews and toys. But after meeting the team and chatting to them about their product, any concerns I had for my superpower-chewers were dispelled.

These durable chew toys are designed for even the most enthusiastic and persistent pets when it comes to chewing, providing hours of entertainment and promoting dental health. They come in a range of shapes, sizes and flavours, and some even come with a 100-day guarantee.

Unlike other competitor brands whose bones are coated with flavouring, the material used in a TastyBone is infused with flavouring during a unique process, meaning they’ll be able to taste the flavour the whole way through. We opted for a couple of the large bones in bacon, and chicken and thyme flavours and will soon report back on whether or not Phoebe and Frank have been able to defeat them.

Antler Powder

These antler powders were on two for £10, and since they’re usually about £9 each, I snapped them up. Antler is a really popular chew for dogs, but did you know that the powdered form has some serious health benefits? Not to mention the fact it never fails to tempt a fussy Phoebe into eating her breakfast on the days she feels a bit peaky.

The powder contains high volumes of natural minerals and nutrients that aid circulation and improve metabolism, and can also help prevent inflammation from arthritis. You simply sprinkle it over your dog’s food to add a burst of flavour and nutrition to their meals.

Natural Treat Moist Sausages

Natural Treats had a huge stall selling a selection of natural chews like pigs ears and chicken feet, but it was their moist sausages I was intrigued by. Handcrafted using the finest natural ingredients, these gourmet sausages are said to be ‘succulent, delicious and highly digestible’, and are the perfect texture for cutting up into smaller pieces to use as high value training treats.

We bought three flavours, venison, chicken and cheese and beef and garlic, and I have a feeling they’re about to become a staple in our household.

Lickimat Goodie Bag

Last but not least, Lickimat gave us a generous goodie bag filled with treats, tools and accessories. We love our Lickimats, but cleaning them can be tricky, so Lickimat included a little brush you can fill with water and washing up liquid to get into all the nooks. There was also a sample of Tribal cold pressed pet food, as well as some dog friendly ice lollies and a Lickmat bandana. Adorable.
