“What’s your name and where d’you come from?” In true Cilla style, Denzel’s has launched a ‘Blind Date’ gift box – and it’s such a fun and unique way to share Valentine’s Day with your pooches this year.
After a long walk in the park, a cuddle on the sofa, and a spritz of their favourite pawfume, owners and their four-legged companions can settle down for the night with this adorable game, where you can reportedly discover your dog’s dating style based on their preference.
Inside the box, which costs £5, pawrents will find two bags of treats in plain paper packaging, labelled ‘one’ and ‘two’. To play the game, humans should lay the two top-secret treats in front of your pooch and allow them to sniff and taste the bites and see which they were more interested in.
If your pet prefers treat number one, they’re considered a ‘sweetheart’. Denzel said: “Butter wouldn’t melt. This sweet pup is always patiently waiting to give cuddles, loves and licks.”
Meanwhile, if your doggo opts for treat number two, they could be a ‘heartbreaker’. “This flirty pooch knows all the tricks to get the cuddles,” said Denzel. “Forever loyal and full of mischief.”
Do I even need to reveal which treat each of the Scamps enjoyed most? The two personality types already have them down to a tee. Made with salmon, sweet potato and fresh banana alongside blueberries, dried apple, spinach and cranberry, Phoebe much preferred the fishier flavour of mystery pack ‘A’, while Frank was immediately drawn to the peanut butter, strawberry and carob combo of mystery bag ‘B’.
The little heart shaped treats are so sweet, made from 100 per cent natural ingredients as has come to be expected from Denzel’s. Suitable for any pup over 12 weeks old, it means this game can be played with your canine companion whether they’re a tiny charmer, or a golden oldie.
Grain free and low in calories, we can’t express how much we enjoy the thoughtfulness behind Denzel’s most recent launches. We’ve been huge fans of the brand for years, from their switch to compostable packaging, to their seasonal launches, dental sticks and reward releases.
Most recently, at Christmas, we were highly impressed with the innovation behind their advent calendar, and it’s just so great to see that creativity continuing with the release of the Blind Date box.
All too often we tear open the packaging of our pet products and throw it into the recycling without even giving it a second glance, but Denzel’s latest limited edition release actively encourages shoppers to pay close attention to the box, the design and really engage with their product.
As well as the game and its instructions, the Blind Date gift features a built-in label that reads ‘be mine?’ with space to write to and from. Inside, there’s even a Valentine’s card from Denzel, as well as a secondary game where you can work out your dog’s ‘Cupid name’ based on the first letter of their name and the month they were born.
Phoebe’s Cupid name works out as Bubbly Kissy Paws, while Frank’s is Mischevious Slobber Face, both of which are pretty accurate, much like their dating styles.
