“Roses are red, Violets are blue, Love-ly Lamb, For your lovely pooch!”
There’s only one thing (okay, maybe a few things) my dogs love more than a cheesy poem and declaration of adoration – and that’s the rustle of a bag of treats.
And this February 14, they’ll be cosying up with a bag of Pooch and Mutt’s Valentine’s Probiotic Meaty Treats.
Their ‘Love-ly Lamb’ meaty treats are limited edition costing £8.49 for three packs – and once they’re gone you won’t be able to get your paws on them again.
The heart-shaped treats are made of 26% lamb, which is a great highly digestible protein, alongside Vitamin C acting as an antioxidant and thyme which can help lower blood pressure.
Suitable for all breeds over 12 weeks old, the treats – like all of Pooch and Mutt’s Meaty range – include probiotics for healthy digestion and collagen for skin and coat to keep them looking gorgeous.
What’s more is that they’re hypoallergenic, and contain no added artificial flavours, colours or preservatives, with no grain, cereal, gluten, beef, soy, dairy and non-GM produce, meaning they’ve not used any genetically modified ingredients.
There are around 110 treats in the packet, which works out at around 2.5p per treat, which is really great value for money. They’re fairly small, but it means they’re fab for training or just showing your pet you love them.
Pooch and Mutt added: “We know that a healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body, but should that thinking be limited to humans? At Pooch & Mutt we’ve created an enhanced range of natural meals, treats and supplements that does good and tastes good, to give your pet the optimal ingredients needed to boost their mood and behaviour paw in paw with their physical health. So you have peace of mind that you’re doing the right thing for your pet.”
