Our ‘Biten’ bag is the perfect bag for dog-walking adventures, like a trip to Knypersley Reservoir! Made of vegan leather, the lightweight bag (0.8kg) is comfortable to wear, with adjustable padded straps that will fit snug and won’t rub your shoulders. The back also has a wide, horizontal strap designed for sliding over a suitcase handle for travelling. Every Gaston Luga bag features a passport pocket on the back, which is ideal for keeping any paperwork or emergency contacts. The back of the bag has a compartment that will fit most 13″ to 15″ laptops, and is in a super discreet place – for winter walks, it’s also a great spot to store a hot water bottle to keep cosy!
The Gaston Luga Biten comes in four colourways, black with tan straps, khaki with tan straps, grey with tan straps, and all black. We opted for all black to go with anything, and it’s super minimalist – something really in line with the brands Scandinavian minimalism.
Looking to the front of the bag, there are two side pockets that will fit your water bottles in. We like to put the dogs’ in one, and ours in another. These are really handy to grab whilst out walking without having to take the backpack off my shoulders. The front pocket – branded with the Gaston Luga logo – has sturdy magnetic fastenings and a zip for added security. We pack this full of treats to give to Phoebe and Frank whilst out and about.
Inside the main compartment is a gorgeous wine coloured lining that is stylishly branded. There’s a padded pocket as well as a zipped pocket on the front of the inside. The main part of the backpack is spacious, and will easily fit toys, collapsible bowls, microfibre towels and everything else you might need to pack for a mucky walk – including a pet first aid kit.
The bottom of the bag is vegan leather with small ‘studs’ which slightly elevate it off the floor. The bag zips open and the whole front of the bag folds down so that you can see everything inside, instead of rooting through everything.
The streamlined, durable bag is waterproof and easily wiped clean, which is ideal for when a mucky dog shakes after trudging through mud!
