We try Wild Pack’s new natural treats launched by Georgia Toffolo

Have you ever looked at the ingredients list on your dog’s treats and wondered what exactly you’re feeding your furry friend? Do you ever worry about the impact of processed foods on their health and well-being? If so, you’re not alone, with many pet owners becoming increasingly concerned about the quality of the food they give their dogs – and rightly so.

That’s where Wild Pack comes in. Founded by Made in Chelsea star Georgia Toffolo, the innovative pet-food subscription service is on a mission to revolutionise the way we feed our four-legged companions, and recently launched a range of all-natural treats to compliment their collection of raw meal plans.

Faced with her dog Monty’s health issues and frustrated by the lack of transparency in commercial pet foods, Toff took matters into her own hands. The result? Real, nourishing food, packed with all-natural goodness and free from artificial additives and fillers.

Following a successful start to their business with beautifully branded, healthy meals in 2023, Wild Pack soft launched their brand new treats at Crufts earlier this year. The March event saw Toff and her co-founder Joy engaging with dog lovers and sharing the low down on the latest launch. The treats proved so popular on day one of Crufts that the 29-year-old had to text their manufacturers to see how quickly they could get ‘a ‘couple thousand’ more delivered.

The collection – taste tested by Montdog himself – features three tasty flavours including 100% venison cubes, 100% beef jerky and scottish salmon bites, made with added sweet potato and rosemary. We picked up one of each at the event and Phoebe and Frank went ‘wild’ for them, if you’ll pardon the pun. And now, they’re finally available to buy online.

Both the venison cubes and beef jerky have just one ingredient listed on their packs after Toff became frustrated with ‘dubious ingredients’ on the backs of other brands’ packs. Instead, these single ingredient, human grade treats are high value  and high protein with no grains or artificial additives, making them a game-changer for dogs with sensitive stomachs or allergies.

Meanwhile, the salmon bites contain 70% salmon, with sweet potato (29.9%) and rosemary extract (0.1%), which Georgia told me was ‘because they’d have otherwise been mush’.

Inside the resealable packet, the venison looks like little sausage slices, while the beef jerky comes in a selection of shapes and sizes, and can be easily broken up depending on your dog’s size. As for the salmon bites, they’re more of a biscuit-style snack, generously sized so they can also be broken in two for between meals or rewarding your pooch.

And the best part? Wild Pack treats aren’t just good for your dog – they’re good for the planet too. With recyclable packaging and a commitment to sustainability, Toff is ensuring that every aspect of her brand reflects her values.

The treats are all priced at £4.95 per pack, but you can currently get your hands on a bundle of all three for £12.50, saving £2.35 on the RRP. Phoebe and Frank were tasked with selecting their favourite and honestly, it was a tough choice and I’m pretty sure Frank went for the whiffiest and Phoebe whichever was easiest to open – if you ask me, I was most impressed with the beef jerky, as it’s something we’ve never been able to buy it in this handy and affordable format previously. But truth be told, they’ve all gone down a storm in recent weeks.

Wild Pack aren’t just talking the talk though – they’re committed to walking the walk, too. Earlier this year, Georgia launched  a campaign to get glycotoxins, otherwise known as AGEs, removed from dry dog food, taking to parliament with Monty to protest against the unsafe levels found in many brands of pet food. These toxins, a byproduct of the dehydration process used to make kibble, have been linked to a range of health issues, from lethargy to even certain cancers. By raising awareness and advocating for better standards, Toff and the Wild Pack team are making a real difference in helping improve the lives of dogs across the UK.

Having absolutely adored their natural, high quality treats, we’re definitely going to give their raw meals a go. You can join the Wild Pack for yourself and shop the brand new treats here.
