As a nation of dog lovers it should come as no surprise that Christmas time brings another opportunity to lavish our pets with gifts and goods. And if we’re unwrapping a Chocolate Orange or unboxing a mince pie, it’s only right that our canine companions have a pooch-friendly equivalent to enjoy throughout the festive season, too.
Some of our favourite brands have brought out some gorgeous holiday-themed limited edition products to celebrate the festive season, and if you’re looking for a last-minute stocking filler, we’ve shared where you can find them before the big day.
We’ve pulled together a round up of our top six treats this year, including Forthglade, Pooch and Mutt, Lily’s Kitchen, Green and Wilds, JR and Denzels. Each has a suitably seasonal recipe to give your furry friend that warm fuzzy feeling we get from popping the lid on a tin of Quality Street.
Here are our top picks of festive treats for dogs and where to find them:
Forthglade
Back following a successful sell-out run in 2021, Forthglade have released their popular limited edition natural soft bite treats with turkey and cranberry. The Devon-based company’s tasty limited edition recipe is a great way to treat your dog over the festive period.
The Christmas turkey and cranberry soft bite treats are made in their adorable signature heart design, gently baked with a seam down the middle so you can easily break them in half. This makes them perfect for sharing if you’re a multi dog household, or so that they go further – or if someone has gained some holiday weight for better portion control (we’ve all been there).
These high protein treats are made with 30 per cent turkey meal, 24 per cent sweet potato among pea flour, vegetable glycerine, cold pressed rapeseed oil, dried cranberry and dried parsley, making them completely irresistible.
They’re suitable for puppies over eight weeks, meaning even if it’s their very first Christmas, they’ll be able to enjoy the taste of Forthglade this December.
Buy a singular pack here for £1.85, or pay £12.95 for eight – perfect for sharing with your canine friends this Christmas.

As these are limited edition, you might want to stock up on them and opt for the box of eight. One pack of these treats comes in at £3.25, while a box of eight is £24.70, saving £1.30 compared to buying separately.
